monday monday, ...just get through it

Tuesday I will get back to it

today, I will be, mostly, a bum

I will sit and not harass myself
I will not make a list.
I will not do the laundry
I will not do a dish

I will not check the mail, neither mails
nor take care of the males, neither male
today they can mind themselves

but if my daughter should call I would linger over a cup of tea with her
maybe share a tear or two, and a whine or two

today, I'll just get through it
the monday blues
